On the Saturday afternoon 08 Dec 2007 the senior grade (4th kyu and above) grading was held for the SA branch. There were almost seventeen candidates with eight attempting Dan grades. A big grading, especially for the Povey family. It was a very warm sunny afternoon as candidates were tested over four gruelling hours for their karate knowledge, ability, fitness and stamina.
